School News
Attention EAL Students & Families:
Any returning EAL /FAL students (who have left the province for more than 30 days) please contact the EAL/FAL Reception Centre (902-620-3738) prior to returning to school so that the EAL/FAL office can check immigration documents, proof of address, etc.
Library Books:
We currently have a high number of overdue library books that are eager to get back to our shelves so other students can enjoy them. Please take a moment this evening to check in with your child to see if they have any library books that are ready to be returned to school . Under beds, behind couch cushions, and in the family car are some spots to check for school library books. Thanks so much for your help with this!
Lockdown Drill:
We will have a lockdown drill on January 23 at 9:15am, the school will not be accessible during this drill. It should not take more than 20 minutes.
Hot Lunch – Quizno’s:
Please note that Friday lunches from Quiznos will not be reimbursed in the event of a storm day or early closure. Quiznos does donate the prepared lunches to the Upper Room food bank. We apologize for this inconvenience.
From Outside Agencies
Delta Soccer’s indoor winter soccer programs at the APM Centre in Cornwall offer boys and girls born between 2014 and 2022 an opportunity to participate in structured play, games, and activities. The winter season is divided into two six-session sections: Section I runs from January 2 to February 13, and Section II from February 17 to March 27. Participants may register for either section individually or for both sections together, with a 20% discount for those registering for both. Registration opens on Monday, December 8.
