School News

Pink Slips

We recently had a contest to see if students could guess how many positive pink slips were handed out to students this year. The actual count surprised many, we are happy to share that as of today we’ve awarded 2512 pink slips! Thank you, students, for being such great citizens!

Candy Sale – Thursday, Jan 30 (weather date: Jan 31)

6F will be hosting a candy sale throughout the school to raise money for their twinned school; Michaka Primary School in Kenya. Students will be able to purchase sour soothers for $1.00 (limit: 2 per student).

Drop-Off Lane Reminder

Just a couple friendly reminders about our morning drop-off lane:

  • Please pull ahead as far as possible before letting your children exit your car. If there is space ahead of a stationary car please pull up past that car. This prevents a jam at the entrance of the drop off lane.
  • Please try to turn right when exiting the drop-off lane. If you need to drive back down Glen Stewart Drive, you may find the roundabout more efficient. Alternate routes away from the school include Perley Drive/Marion Drive and MacKinnon Dr/Lottie Way.
