Drop-Off Lane Reminder
Just a couple friendly reminders about our morning drop-off lane:
- Please pull ahead as far as possible before letting your children exit your car. If there is space ahead of a stationary car please pull up past that car. This prevents a jam at the entrance of the drop off lane.
- Please try to turn right when exiting the drop-off lane. If you need to drive back down Glen Stewart Drive, you may find the roundabout more efficient. Alternate routes away from the school include Perley Drive/Marion Drive and MacKinnon Dr/Lottie Way.
Winter Clothing
We have a growing collection of outdoor winter gear in our lost and found. It is always helpful to label mittens, hats, coats etc.; we do make an effort to return articles to students when we know the owners.

From Earlier Wolves’ News:
1-Hour Delay Reminder
Please note that the school board will often announce a delay in the opening of schools when there are challenging weather conditions. A 1-hour delay to the start of classes applies to all aspects of the school day. All bus pick-up times move ahead 1 hour, school drop-off times move ahead 1 hour (9:00), and the beginning of classes move ahead 1 hour (9:30). We recognize that families who are new to the community may not be aware of this process. We thank you for your patience during the recent 1-hour delays! These types of delays are always broadcast on local radio stations. The same applies for full-day closures. Stratford Elementary is a member of the Charlottetown family of schools; listeners would hear: “There is a 1-hour delay to the start of classes in the Charlottetown family of schools”.
Cold Weather Clothing
Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Please note that all students go outside even when it is very cold and when it is snowing.
THANK YOU
Have a Nice Weekend!
